Q1:How can I find and contact the Creatives?

A1:There are two ways for finding and contacting the Creatives:

  • If you have found Creatives whom you are interested in, you can send a message or job invitation instantly to the Creative to discuss more. We recommend this method to clients who want to discuss in details or would like to invite specific Creatives.

  • Posting job on Job Pool- clients can post jobs on Job Pool, which will instantly notify the Creatives of the corresponding industry. The Creatives who are interested in the job can submit a reply, which will send an email notification to the client. We recommend this method to clients who have to urgently look for a Creative.

Q2:How do I pay the Creatives ?

A2:The mission of Freehunter is to provide a network for connecting clients and the Creatives easily, instead of serving as a tradtional intermediary platform. Therefore, we do not charge our clients any form of fees for browsing and contacting Creatives. For fee and payment method, clients may discuss with Creatives directly and pay according to the final agreement made by both parties.

Q3:Is there a limit on the number of Creatives that I can contact?

A3:In order to protect our Creatives' privacy and prevent spam messages, each client can contact up to 10 Creatives each day, and up to 20 Creatives per week. For more information, please contact our team at 6813 1940.

Q1:How can I make sure my profile to be seen?

A1:The search page is the most frequently visited page for clients, making the ranking of profiles important. The algorithm of the search page is determined by numerous factors such as the following:

  • The completion of the profile and the overall appeal
  • Profile views and browsing session.

Creatives can improve their profiles through making the profiles more complete and appealing , such as uploading work experience and more works. Sharing the link of one’s profile to other social media also makes a great way to help increase the views of the profile.

Q2:How do I avoid receiving spam messages?

A2:If any user suspects an abuse of the messaging function, such as sending spam messages, or any messages containing malicious, discriminatory or harassing content, please contact our team immediately.

* A blocking feature will be added in the future to help users stop receiving unwanted messages. We apologize for any convenience caused.

Q3:Will Freehunter charge Creatives for any fees?

A3:The mission of Freehunter is to help Creatives grow and advance their careers, as well as fostering the local creative industry. Freehunter is not a traditional intermediary platform, therefore we do not charge Creatives for any form of fees. If you suspects someone is charging Creatives on behalf of Freehunter , please contact our team immediately.

Q4:What should I do if I find the service provided by the Creative sub-standard or not ideal?

A4:In order to protect the interest of both the client and the Creative, Freehunter recommends both parties to discuss thoroughly and confirm job details before starting the project. Taking graphic design service as an example, both parties should agree on the following details, eg. the style of the design, date of completion, number of edits included, etc.

* Freehunter does not interfere in any project between clients and Creatives, and does not provide any mediation service.

Q5:How can I obtain proof of transaction such as invoice and receipt?

A5:Clients may request proof of transaction directly from the Creative if possible. At the moment, Freehunter does not provide any proof of transaction or billing template. Clients and Creatives shall discuss the matter before starting the project.

*Since we received positive feedbacks from our users on adding the billing template function, we will consider its possibility for the convenience of both parties.

Q4:How should I work with the client?

A4:In order to protect the interest of both the Creative and the client, Freehunter recommends both parties to discuss and confirm job details thoroughly before starting the project. Taking graphic design service as an example, both parties should agree on the following details, eg. the style of the design, date of completion, number of edits included, etc.

* Freehunter does not interfere in any project between the Creatives and clients, and does not provide any mediation service.

Q5:How can I become a Creative on Freehunter?

A5:Any creative talent from the relevant industries is welcomed to join Freehunter. If you are Interested in becoming a Creative, you may visit the homepage and sign up for free.

Q6:Can a Creative have more than one profile?

A6: Yes, as we understand that some Creatives may possess more than one creative skill, therefore Creatives can create relevant profiles for their skills. For example, a Creative can have two profiles as a photographer and a designer.

Q7:What can I do to get more job opportunities?

A7:There are mainly two ways for a Creative to receive more job opportunities:

  • Work on your profile to improve your profile ranking on search page- please refer to Q1 for details.
  • Use Job Pool

    At the moment, a Creative can unlock the Job Pool by referring a friend to register. After unlocking Job Pool, you will be able to view all the latest jobs posted by the clients. Whenever a new job is posted, you will receive an email notification. For jobs you are interested in, you can submit a message to inform the client. As each client only gets to view the messages from the first five respondents, so we recommend Creatives to submit response as soon as possible, for a higher chance of getting the job.

Q8:As a Creative, can I contact Creatives from different industries?

A8: Freehunter strives to promote knowledge exchange and interactions in the local creative industry. Therefore, we absolutely encourage our Creatives to interact with each other. You can send messages to Creatives from different industries for chats or even to discuss possible collaborations.
